The Government Siddha Medical College (GSMC), Chennai, established in 1985, is a premier state-run institution dedicated to the Siddha system of medicine. Located in Arumbakkam, it is affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and recognized by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).

The college offers the undergraduate B.S.M.S. (Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery) degree and postgraduate M.D. (Siddha) programs across seven specializations, including Maruthuvam (Medicine) and Gunapadam (Pharmacology). Its campus is integrated with the Arignar Anna Government Hospital of Indian Medicine, providing students with extensive clinical exposure through its 155-bed facility and diverse outpatient departments.
